John McNay

When I took early retirement from a career as a cartographic surveyor 17 years ago I took up woodturning having more time to devote to it.

I did some initial training with Jimmy Clewes but the rest is trial & error.

I turn everything from pens to large platters & sell them at local craft fairs.

I’m a member of Strathclyde Woodturners & do occasional demonstrations at the club when required.
