I have being turning for approx 18 months as a result of inheriting a very basic Record 3 speed  lathe. I like to experiment with wood etc; sometimes with

less than favorable outcomes,(expensive kindling). Now that I am retired I am very keen to spend more time wood  turning and

hopefully improving  my turning technique which may result in  burning more kerosene at home and creating less firewood.
